Thanks for stopping by A Family Place. I enjoy working with families, and sharing the power of music with them. Kindermusik provides this outlet for me. This blog will allow me to share thoughts and ideas that can help families in their journey.

Annie Moses Band in Calhoun!!!

The Annie Moses Band is a Christian family of Julliard-trained musicians and award-winning songwriters dedicated to virtuosity in the arts. Led by lead singer/violinist, Annie Wolaver, the Band includes her five siblings: Alex, viola; Benjamin, cello; Camille, harp/keyboard; Gretchen, violin/mandolin; and Jeremiah, guitar and banjo. Add the veteran songwriting talents of their parents, Bill and Robin Wolaver, and you have a dynamic group with roots in classical, pop, and jazz. Together, they are leading an artistic renaissance in the Church through musical excellence, strength of family, and a message of faith, inspiring all generations to join in the discipline, beauty, and excitement of highly skilled musicianship.

This exciting group will be in Calhoun Georgia on Monday December 3.  Call 706-625-3132 for tickets or information!!

Details for the end of the semester

Fall semester 2012 is quickly coming to a close, and here are things for you to remember:

Thanksgiving week - the only classes that meet during the week of November 19 are the MONDAY classes.  No other classes will meet during the week of Thanksgiving.

The week of December 3 is the last week of classes for the fall semester, UNLESS your teacher has a make-up class scheduled.

We hope you are continuing Kindermusik in January!  Classes are filling quickly, and your spot is not reserved without a deposit ($60) or payment in full.  If you pay in full by December 1, you can deduct $15!!!

Kindermusik makes a GREAT gift, so tell the grandparents that you don't need another toy.  Let them give a gift that you can enjoy for months to come!  We can even give them a gift certificate to put under the tree!

Spring semester begins the week of January 14. To see a brochure with a list of classes go here.

Rome Christmas parade is on Broad Street on Tuesday November 27 at 6:30 p.m.  It's great way to start the holiday season!
